Principals Message
The weather is beginning to change and the holiday season has started to emerge once again. We had many exciting activities in October and because of your participation they were a success. We had Skate Country Night, McDonald’s Night, the Walk-to-School Event and ended the month with our Student Council led Spirit Week. We also completed parent teacher conferences to discuss the progress of each student.
November is shaping up to be just as exciting. Our feature event will be on November 10th from and will include an evening of Star Gazing, food, and showing of “Rio ” the movie on the basketball court. In our fliers we stated that MYTOWN Music would be performing but unfortunately they had to cancel. The dinner, snacks, movie, and star gazing are still scheduled. We hope to see you there and please plan on bringing a chair or a blanket to sit on at the basketball court for the movie.
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and we are thankful for all that you do for our school!

Parking Lot:
This is just a quick reminder to please be courteous and patient towards others while on campus which includes the parking lot. Please use your blinkers and wait until the parking lot attendants allow you to pass another vehicle. Also, stay alert of others at all times.
Attendance/Tardies:
Attendance is of the utmost importance to the continued success of your child’s progress at school. Please make note of the attendance and tardy policies in your child’s planner.
Science Fun Fest:
The Science Fun Fest Committee has started to plan for this year’s event which is tentatively scheduled for March 16th. The theme for this year is solar energy. A list of needed supplies will be coming soon.
Parent Advisory Committee (PAC):
The PAC Committee has been meeting on a regular basis generally the second Friday of the month. The meetings are held at under the ramada. PAC will be hosting the Star Gazing/Family Movie Night on Nov. 10th as well as many other events throughout the year. They would like to “Thank” all you who participated in the McParent Night at McDonald’s and Skate Country Night. The PAC committee would also like to remind families to vote for the “Power A Bright Future Grant” that was submitted to assist in the purchasing of a sun shade to go over some of the playground equipment. You can vote more than once. Tell your family and friends to vote as well. We have until Dec. 9th.
